I'm now able to narrow the request I made yesterday. My great-great-great-grandfather's second marriage record show him as marrying on April 18, 1861 in a religious ceremony conducted by Charles Schenck in Roxbury Township.
I've found Charles Schenck in the 1860 census living in Roxbury Township listed as a Lutheran Clergyman. In the 1870 census, he's in the Town of Middleton as a Lutheran Minister. The 1880 "History of Dane County" contains a biographical sketch of Charles Schenck in which he's described (in 1880) as having charge of four large congregations.
So my question now is:
Any ideas as to what Lutheran church in Roxbury Charles Schenck might have been serving in as the Pastor in 1861?
