KIM: I did retrieve the two DC's you indicated for JAMES and NANCY MORRISON and noticed the burial locations of both individuals and that REGER Funeral Home was in charge. In regards to NANCY MORRISON's with the remark "Johnson Cem-City"
There was a rather large JOHNSON Cemetery that was displaced in 1964 with the building of I-64 in Cabell County/Wayne County line. It is possible that your ancestors were buried that as indicated that they were living in Wayne County/Ceredo District in 1920 which would put them in very close proximity to that cemetery.
I do have ALL the listings of individuals that were "reinterred" to various cemeteries, but your two persons are not listed, in fact, no Morrison's were listed.
I do plan on going to the local library tomorrow and will look for the same names in the Wayne County Cemetery Books....
A son, JERRY MORRISON died on 11-18-1912..DC's were not required until 1917 in WV and there does not appear to be an obituary for him.
Another son, CHARLEY MORRISON died 12-30-1952 in Wayne County. He was buried at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville,KY.
There are obits available for both NANCY and JAMES and I will see if they pinpoint a more exact location for their burials.
Will also see if there is a JOHNSON Cemetery in Wayne County.
