Helen M. Roose, age 44 years, passed away at a local hospital Saturday, Feb. 6, following a short illness. Mrs. Roose, whose home is at 1101 E. North street, had been a resident here for the past fourteen years, was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church and for a number of years had been custodian at the Normal school.
Surviving relatives are her husband, Elmer E. Roose; four sons, Glen, Herbert, Robert and Elmer, all at the family home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kubbernes, Perryvial, Alberta; six brothers, John Kubbernes, Seattle; Charles, Emil, Herbert, George and Richard Kubbernes, Alberta, Canada; five sisters, Mrs. Martha Brown, Mrs. Edna Campbell, Mrs. Eleanor Bottoher, Mrs. Eleanore Luttz and Miss Rachel Kubbernes, all of Alberta, Canada.
The remains are resting at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. F. M. Nitz officiating. Burial will take place in Greenacres Memorial Park. The following will act as pallbearers: Albert Rollogg, Dave Johnson, William Bryant, William Reid, Stanley Long and Clifford Loomis.
