THE HENRY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Fri., Nov. 5, 1915, p. 1, col. 5. DEATH OF MR. MARSHALL’S BROTHER. Mr. G. H. Marshall was called Monday by telegram to his home in Fauquier on account of the death of his eldest brother, Mr. John T. Marshall who was killed by a Southern Railway train Sunday night. The circumstances of the latter’s death are briefly as below. He went out for a long walk Sunday afternoon, and as he was very deaf, it is supposed that his deafness prevented his hearing the approach of the train. He had been in bad health for some time and on that account had retired from the practice of law. He had lived in Kansas City from 1881 until last year, when he returned to Fauquier. His funeral took place at Leeds Church Tuesday afternoon.
