Just wondering how Pamplin is doing. My dad Bernard Wilkerson grew up there on Church St. in the house next to the church/left side looking at the church, it was a two family house, my dads mom lived on the left side. I remember playing in that tree next to the church and watching the trains with coal cars go by in the back, say in the late 50's and 60's, the genereal store is where I believe a gentleman named Woodrow Williams was the owner/baseball player before he got injured. Had a lot of relatives there, the Moores, I dont know if any family is still there. Have about 14 clay pipes from the Pamplin Clay Factory, I would like to find out if anyone can tell me if they are worth anything or maybe donate them somewhere.
Thanks for any help anyone can forward.
