For the Windsor County, Vermont Probate Index....
Microfilmed copies of the docket books are available at:
The state's central repository at General Services Center, Middlesex, Vermont.
New England Historical Genealogical Society (NEHGS) in Boston, Mass.
By loan from branch libraries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS).

For Warning Out information I would suggest contacting the Hartford Town Clerk or asking someone from the Hartford Historical Society to do a look-up and find out if they have anything in their collections.

If you're looking for the actual books I've cited as sources, perhaps your State Historical Society Library would have a copy. I suspect that my late sister obtained hers from NEHGS in Boston as I know she spent a lot of time there.

Do you have the excerpt from the Windsor County, Vermont Gazetteer, by Hamilton Child?
page 135 regarding Edward KNEELAND
... from New Haven, Conn., came to Harford in 1811, and soon after put a set of machinery for carding wool into rolls in a mill that stood upon the present site of Moore & Peck's grist-mill, the first of the kind in the county. He continued this business of wool carding about ten years, then gave it up, following the carpenter trade. He died in 1872, aged seventy-nine years.

Good luck with your research ~ Tootsie
