This is a long shot, but I am putting info out anywhere I can think.

CHARLES Livingston Conn
1891–1955
BIRTH 16 FEB 1891 • Florence, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA
DEATH 20 DEC 1955 • Wichita Falls, Wichita, Texas, United States

He is my maternal grandfathers, grandfather. My Grandfather, being very close with his Grandmother, was always bothered that Charles left her, without a trace, in the 1920s. He has passed, but all he was told "someone saw him in Missouri" For some reason the men in my family went there often.

What we know..
He shows up on a 1920 census still in PA, with his step mother Clara Conn. Then suddenly he shows up in Texas. Pampa, Gray, Texas on a 1930's census. His son drowned in 1925, Erie PA and no one could notify him. So I would assume he left between 1920-25. For those 5 years, well we don't know. However, I have reason to believe he was in Oklahoma.

In 1940 he shows up in Wichta Texas. His draft card reads
Address: Waggoner Lease, Near Rocky Point
Employer: W.J. and John J Morgan -- Wichita Falls, Texas
Wife: Ida Mae

I really want to know where he was in 1921. I really want to find out if he had other children, and possibly find out why he left. Its been important to my family for generations. Any, any help would do. I have emailed the ranch, and a local historical society. Suggestions?
