My wife is a gr-gr granddaughter of James T. Pattison. We live in Pattison, Texas on land that has been in the family since 1845. We have some history on the Pattison family and yes, we have one of the books. There was only 200 printed by Aunt Corrie. I don't have much on your side of the family, since Lynn comes from the George Madison side. A brother of Benjamin Franklin. I will be happy to help you if I can. Here goes! Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Pattison was born May 12, 1857 in Pattison. He died Oct. 23, 1884 in Pattison and if buried n the Pattison cemetery. He married Lucy Elizabeth Foster (they had a house about 50 yards south of our house). Married 9-22-1877 by C.D. Parker in the home of her parents, in Pattison. Parents, Isaac Prestwood and Ann Eliza Ewell Foster. (Ann Eliza's mother's house was were the last recorded Indian attack in Texas happened). Their children, Hallie Lee, Ernest Eugene "Bud", Isaac Foster, called Foster. I assume this is where your line comes from without some research. E.E. never married. Foster was born 3-31-1883 in the family home in Pattison, he died 1-11-1946 in his residence. He married Clara Emma Greak, daughter of Reinhart and MInnie Berthold Greak, born 4-22-1892 in Weimar, Colorado Co., Texas, she died 8-29-1976 in Ok. Their children were Lucy Maxine, Edna Eugene and Johnnie Mayes.
I have more information if this is your line. It doesn't sound right
