Terrell Times - 21 Aug 1889
On Sunday last, one of the oldest persons in the community, and perhaps the oldest in the county, passed away. Uncle JOSIAH LINDSEY died Sunday morning at 8 o'clock. The age was 85 years. Mr. LINDSEY has resided in this county 18 years and leaves a family of grown children and innumerable friends to mourn his death. The deceased has been a member of the primitive Baptist Church and has ever observed those rules, regulations and Bible doctrine that tends to make a true Christian.
