Billy loved fishing, boating, and woodworking. He was especially good at teaching young people to water ski and fish. He never met a stranger and you would always find him talking to anyone, or helping anyone with any need they might have. Billy was a master craftsman who taught both of his sons to love woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Dillard of Midland; two sons, David Andrew Dillard of Midland and Jeffrey Scott Dillard of Kyle, Texas; a brother-in-law, Bill Stallworth; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Dillard, both of Houston; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jim Dillard.
