Looking for info on birth/siblings/parents of Willis KILGORE and Isabella LINDSAY Kilgore, parents of Constantine Buckley Kilgore (state legislator, U.S. Congressman and judge). Willis and Isabella married in Jackson Cty, GA in 1827, then lived in Coweta Cty GA until moving their family (then nine living children) to Rusk Cty in 1845, relocating to the town of New Danville in Gregg Cty a few years later. (New Danville was renamed Kilgore after "Buck" Kilgore.)

Family lore had it that Willis was born in Troup Cty, GA, but recently I checked into the history of that area, and it was Indian territory which didn't open up to white settlement until 1826, when Willis was 22 years old. Do any other Kilgore descendants have any other information on Willis or Isabella? I believe she is buried in Danville Cemetary, Kilgore. (Willis was reported missing in an early Civil War battle - no known gravesite.) Anything on Willis or Isabella before 1827 would be greatly appreciated.
