Irish from Ballymacshoneen, County Cork, in Galveston

Surnames: Hurley, Whelton, Sullivan, Regan
Curious if anyone is researching Hurley's in Galveston. My great-grandfather, Daniel Hurley, emigrated from Ballymacshoneen to Galveston in 1899, to live with a brother, Michael. It appears Michael had been in Galveston for a few years living and working with uncles (John, Timothy, and Dennis). My g-grandfather left for Boston in about 1900 - no idea why other than he had sisters there.

The Ballymac Hurley's had cousins in Galveston - Whelton's, Sullivan's and Regan's. In fact, when Pat Sullivan was the Police Chief, there were a fair number of "cousins" hired as Officers.

Anyways, just trying to piece the families together...
