This is the Texas message board. You may want to post to the Tennessee message board. It will help by posting locations. birth and death dates, if you have them.
Jewel Petty and Loursey Swallows were married in Overton, Tenn. in 1944. Losure A. Swallows b. 1 November 1923 in Tn. d. 28 December 2005. in Polk, Florida. He is buried at Church of Christ Cemetery, in Eagle Lake, Polk Co. Fl.
Jewell Swallows b. 24 April 1928 in Tn. d. 24 September 2007, in Polk, Fl. You can find them on
In order to look for NA heritage you will need to have your genealogy done back to at least the 1850s, to establish where they were living. The census records will tell you race listed also.
Jewel Petty was listed with her parents on the 1930 and 1940 census, living in Tn. as was Losure A Swallows. There are also several trees done on this family at Ancestry

You can find many records on your family here.

You may have some trouble with parents of Jewel Petty, as her mother is listed as Belle, on most records I found.
This an obit of her sister that should be helpful.
