I recently found the death certificates for Ham Robinson Jr. b. abt 1903 d. Mar. 27, 1912 (9 yrs old at time of death) and Ruth Robinson b. Sept. 1892 d. June 14, 1912 (19 years old at time of death). Both of these death certificates give the cause of death as being shot (Ham Jr's just says "shot" and Ruth's says "gun shot". I've tried looking in some of the papers at the library but have not been able to find anything on this incident. Does anyone have any information concerning this? I'm assuming the deaths are related since they died within 3 months of each other. Ham and Ruth were siblings. They were the children of Ham Robinson (b. 1868 d.Aug 31 1910) and Edna Ballew Robinson (b. 1870 no death date). The 1910 census shows Ruth as being a cashier at a candy store. Ham Sr. is also on this census since the census was done in April. He died in August from heart trouble. His occupation was Real Estate Agent. If anyone has any information on this family I would greatly appreciate anything you could share with me. I'm also searching for their place of burial. The Death certificates back then did not give the place of burial. Ham Robinson Sr. is my great uncle.
