I'm looking for information on my 3rd gg father John Washington Ware, born April 6, 1815 in Virginia and died May 10, 1861 in DeKalb county, TN. I think he may have lived around Short Mountain and he was a freemason. He married Mary McDearmon in 1837 and held property in Wilson County, TN in 1936, and in 1852 was given a land grant in DeKalb county around the creek at Smith's Fork and Dry Creek. His children with Mary McDearmon were:
