Pneumonia Fatal to Contractor's Wife -- Baby Born

Mrs. Bertha Kramer, wife of George Kramer, the prominent contractor, passed away on Wednesday at 7:30, following an illness of only four or five days. Death was caused by pneumonia. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home, 511 North Washington street, and at 2 o'clock at the church, Rev. O. Glesne, officiating.

Mrs. Kramer's death was especially sad for several reasons. She was attacked by pneumonia four or five days ago, and on Tuesday, her forty-first birthday, gave birth to a babe. The mother, ill as she was from the attack of pneumonia, could not withstand the shock and peacefully passed away this morning. The babe is alive and healthy and is getting along nicely.

Mrs. Kramer was born in Estherville, Ia., and was married in Aberdeen on November 25, 1896, to George Kramer, who, with two daughters, aged 11 and 6, and the babe, survive her. Her mother, Mrs. Sando, and one brother, J. E. Sando, also survive.
