Lt. Henry Davis Colhoun, son of John Ewing Colhoun, Jr, is in the 1860 Pickens census with younger brother, Edward Boinneau. Henry was a lieutenant in Ferguson's Artillery and recruited heavily in the Pickens District. He died in the spring of 1866, no obit in the Keowee Courier, strange for a member of such a prominent family. Can anyone say where he's buried? I've guessed in the family cemetery at Keowee plantation, but there's no inscribed stone there, and no historical evidence of his burial. I am researching for a book on Ferguson's Artillery and the members from Pickens District and adjacent areas.
