Thank you . I tend to get behind in answering my messages. Because of this I may sometimes have the information already provided. It is good to know that others are so helpful in my research. Bethrau1 provided me with the same above information on Nancy Dyson's death. .. Fold 3 has supplied me with all the naval veterans info on Andrew Dyson Sr. . I also have the death certificate for Andrew Jr.. Thank you for the above....I did not however know Thomas was married. That was most helpful. I know he died around 1903 but I do not know where. Perhaps he died in NJ, One of the affidavits mentions he lived there a short while with his father Andrew. Thank you for the Obit on Delia. I am in possession of her death certificate. My mother said Delia had a brother Peter and a sister. Did the obit mention their names because we were not sure if Delia's sister was named Margaret? I know she married Oscar Martin after Andrews death. I remember meeting their son Miles as a small child.
Delia's granddaughter ( my grandmother Eva) said Andrew served also as a buffalo soldier in the 9th cavalry. He is listed in the the Buffalo Soldier returns where he served under his slave owner's name Helman.. I have been trying to get additional info regarding his service as a Buffalo Soldier.
