I hit a early dead end at my great grandfather, Harry Earl Byrne. I'm out of touch with the Byrne side of my family, and I'd like to learn more about them. Despite knowing a lot of information about Harry, I cannot find his parents for whatever reason. Here's what I know about him:
Harry Earl Byrne
Born: 25 August 1910
Birthplace: Pennsylvania, USA
Death: 28 December 2002
Deathplace: Stevensville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland, USA
Spouse: Ruth Evelyn Langley (daughter of James A Langley and Lillian E Smith)
Son: Richard Earl Byrne Sr.
When he was 9 or 10, a census shows he was living as a boarder with many others, along with a possible brother, 15 year old "Wylie" (Willie/William?) Byrne. By the next census, these two were separated and Wylie lived as a lodger with many other people yet again.
According to my father, Harry was a bishop in the Church of Latter Day Saints in Maryland, but that could just be a tall tale. He spent most of his life in Maryland, to my knowledge, but I felt it was proper to post it here as he (and likely his family) are from Pennsylvania.
I've dug through all sorts of records and came up with nothing new. If anybody has some advice or information, please let me know! If you need any additional information from me, let me know and I'll try my best to provide.
