Funeral services for a 93 years old native of Ashland, Rudolph Granzow who died Wednesday afternoon in a nursing home in Fox Chase, Philadelphia, will be held tomorrow.
The son of the late Fred and Dorothea Granzow, he operated a grocery in Ashland before moving to Philadelphia thirty years ago.
His first wife, the former Elizabeth Henke of Ashland, preceded him in death many years ago. Survivors include his second wife, the former Lena Russell Turner of Lavelle; two step sons, Julian and William Turner of Drexel Hill, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Bright, of Philadelphia. Six grandchildren also survive.
Burial will take place in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs tomorrow at noon.

Rudolph Granzow, 93, 414 Borbeck Ave., Fox Chase, Philadelphia, died Wednesday in a nursing home after an illness of the past several months.
Born in Ashland, son of the late Fred and Dorothy Granzow, he lived in the Philadelphia area for about thirty years. During his life in Ashland, he assisted his parents in conducting a general store on Centre St, and was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his second wife, the former Lena Russell Turner, native of Lavelle; two stepsons, Julian Turner, and William Turner, of Drexel Hill; six grandchildren William Turner, of Harrisburg and Dorothy, wife of Dale Fetzer, of Annville; Julian Turner, Jr., Nancy, Susan, and Christine Turner, all of Philadelphia; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Bright, of Philadelphia. His first wife the former Elizabeth Hinkle, also of Ashland, and a son, Earl, 12, died many years ago.
The body will be brought to Ashland Saturday afternoon for interment in the Fountain Springs Cemetery (Christ Church Cemetery)
