Anna T. Prusak, 80, of 631 Monges St., Hazleton, passed away Friday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Georgio and Patronella (Milano) Calarco and was a member of Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton.
She worked in the garment industry for over 40 years and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was also an avid bingo player and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Most Precious Blood Church.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, John B. Prusak, in 1999; brothers, Rocco, Louis, Joseph, Anthony “Ham,” Pasquale and Vincent Calarco; a sister, Dora Charnigo; and three infant brothers.
Surviving are sons, Martin Prusak and his wife, Linda, Port Orange, Fla.; and George Prusak and his wife, Sue, Hudsondale; a daughter, Patricia Knecht, and her husband, Daniel, Hazleton; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday from Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.
in Most Precious Blood Church. Burial will be in Most Precious Blood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
