Thomas Laganosky, of Monges Street, Hazleton, died at his home Monday. Born in Freeland, he was the son of the late Frank and Stephania (Zawadzky) Laganosky and lived in this area for most of his life.
Tom served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Korea.
He was a member of Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton.
Prior to retirement, he worked at New Cumberland Army Depot.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his brother, Frank Laganosky; and his son-in-law, Jeff Kambic.
Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Guido; his daughter, Cindy Kambic Young, and her husband, Dave; and his grandchildren, Thomas and Carly Kambic, all of Collegeville. Also surviving are his brothers, Joseph and John, both of Freeland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton.
Interment will follow in Most Precious Blood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
The family asks that no flowers be sent.
