Glenn Alvin Kahle 76, a former Venango County Commissioner and a retired state assemblyman who represented the area for 10 years, died Monday, Oct. 27, 1986 in Franklin Regional Medical Center.
Mr Kahle who resided at 408 Hill St., Emlenton, had been in failing health for an extended time. He was born Nov. 7, 1909 at Pine City, Clarion Co. PA. to Alex E. & Marie Kribbs Kahle.
He married September 9, 1961 to the former Margaret Segui, formerly of Carnegie and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Donald Kahle of Salem, OR, and Keith Kahle of Atlanta, GA; a step-daughter Doris Jean Wilson of Austintown, OH; one nephew, Terry W. Kahle of Knox; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Clarabelle Kahle and a brother Wayne (Barney) Kahle.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Criswell-Gardinier Funeral Home in Emlenton. Rev. Merle Wonderling, a retired United Methodist minister, will officiate. Interment will be in the Emlenton Cemetery.
