Don't know if this is your Patrick or not, but in the book, "The Mollie Maguires" by Wayne G. Broehl, Jr. (I came across it in a public library) on page 223 it mentions a Pat McKenna. I don't have that page copied or I could tell you what it said. I, too, am very interested in the Mollie Maguires and in Schuylkill County as that is where my Devitts and Faheys are from. There was a story in my family that my great-grandfather, Patrick Fahey, either killed a Mollie Maguire or was killed by a Mollie Maguire. I think the later is more believable as he went to work one day to the coal mine and never came back. That had to be in Ashland or Minersville. My link with the McKennas is my great-grandmother on my dad's father's side, Catherine McKenna md. Nicholas Carroll. I believe the Carrolls were from County Louth, Ireland, which I am waiting on word from Ireland. The time period has to be early 1850's. Not sure yet where the McKennas are from. I find them in Philadelphia, PA in the 1860 census, along with 5 children and a John Carroll, most likely Nicholas' brother. Catherine is listed as 30 yrs. old at the time. Nicholas is 35 and a Blacksmith. There is another Mollie Maguire book, but I can't recall the title. If I can uncover it or remember it, I'll let you know. I do have a small Historical Account of the Mollie Maguires, I'll have to read it again & see if Pat's mentioned. Hope I helped some.
