John Iacurci, 564 Monges St., superintendent of the Columbia Slipper Co., this city, died at 11:15 pm yesterday in his home. He was born in the Province of Castelfranc, Italy, a son of the late Lawrence and Filomena Sperry Iacurci. He was a member of the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Iacurci was employed by the Columbia Slipper Co. for more than 30 years and was superintendent for many years. He leaves his wife, the former Rose Greenspan; three daughters, Mrs. Matthew (Mary) Cundro, Hazleton; Mrs. James (Evelyn) McFadden, Hazleton, and Joan, at home. Also surviving are four grandchildren in addition to a brother and a sister in Italy. He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence, on Sept. 27, 1957. The funeral will be held from the Joseph and Mary Fierro Funeral Home at 9 am Tuesday with a solemn high mass of requiem in Most Precious Blood Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
