OBIT - 6 Oct 1943, Indiana Evening Gazette, MRS. NANCY MATILDA HENRY, 78, died Tuesday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Edwards, Indiana R. D. 3. A daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Strong) Henry (sic.), she was born 13 February 1865, in Cherryhill township and had lived all her life in Indiana County. Surviving are these children; N. C. Henry, Blue Island, Ill.; Rev. F. W. Henry, Harrisburg; Mrs. Edwards, mentioned above; E. B. Henry, Cleveland, O.; Mrs. James Beveridge, Indiana; H. M. Henry, Alverda and A. F. Stewart, Penn Run. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and19 great-grandchildren; a brother, E. N. Lydick of Indiana, R. D. 3 and a sister, Mrs. Mary Weimer, Toledo, O. Friends are being received in Robinson Funeral Home. where services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Messir. David R. Graham and R. H. Burchell will officiate and interment will be in Harmony Cemetery, Penn Run.
Obit - 20 MAr 1967 - Indiana Evening Gazette - MRS. BLANCHE EDWARDS, 76, widow of Henry A. Edwards, died March 18, 1967 in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller of 409 Grant St. Indiana.
Born Sept. 18, 1890 in Green Twp., Indiana County, Pa., near Pine Flats, she was the daughter of Barney and Matilda Leydic Henry.
Mrs. Edwards lived for a number of years in Starford before moving to Indiana over 40 years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Indiana; the Cary Bible Class; OES Chapter 599 of Indiana and the Indiana Grange 1656.
Surviving are: three sons: Lewis H., of Indiana; Harold J. of Pittsburgh; Ronald L., of Frankin, Tenn.; Two daughters: Mrs. Clarence (Dorothy) Miller of Indiana; Mrs. Edward (Jane) McDowell of Buffalo, N.Y.; three brothers: Rev. F. W. Henry of Carlisle; E. Blair Henry of Cleveland, O.; H. M. (Pat) Henry of Indiana; two sisters: Mrs. Carrie Beveridge of Indiana and Mrs. Gaynelle Stewart of Penn Run; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Robinson-Lytle's in Indiana after 7:30 p.m. Sunday and will be received today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Rev. Macklyn E. Lyndstrom, D.D., will conduct services on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be made in the Harmony Cemetery, Penn Run.
