John "Jacker" Campbell was my 4th great grandfather. :0)

Amanda, who lived until 1911 was his 3rd wife. He didn't have children with her, but had them with my 4th G/Gmother, his first wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Briggs. They had 9 children. A couple of years after Betsy died, Jacker married Ellen Vaughn (sp?) and they had two daughters. I don't have the exact date of Ellen's death, but it was possibly around 1850. Jacker married Amanda a year or two later and they didn't have children.

I live in Anchorage, but was just traveling all over Blair, Clearfield, Huntingdon & Centre Counties checking out graves from my mom's ancestors for 2 weeks at the end of June & left on July 5th.

I spoke to two cousins that I met on here that live there while I was there, but they didn't have exact directions to Jacker's grave. I'll check it out when I go back again.. probably this fall! :D

Glad you guys posted all this~ Especially those detailed directions! :0)

PS... Amanda is buried in Clearfield County, but I never could find my 4GG mother's burial location (maiden name Briggs) or the burial location of Jacker's 2nd wife..
