E.E. Jones died of pneumonia in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Perry Taylor west of town last Saturday morning of last week.
Mr. Jones had been in the service in France and has obtained a furlough in order the he might visit his daughters. Immediately aftter his arrival here he became sick and in a short time passed from this life.
Funeral services were conducted at the graveside in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma where his body clothed in uniform was laid to rest. Uniformed soldiers acted as pallbearers. The services conducted by Rev. A.A. McCleskey, pastor of the Methodist church were impressive.
