Seeking information about Ottawa Indian Tribe Chief John Wilson's (b. calculated 1813 death 9 April 1870 in Kansas, buried 1870 in Ottawa Indian Cemetery) descendents and wife (possibly named Abigail or Terez Brown?). I am a descendant of his daughter Nannie May Wilson Cooke (b. 9 June 1864 Kansas/Indian Territory, d. 19 Dec 1957 Los Angeles, California). I think he may have had children R. Wilson and Sallie Wilson according to a website that listed funeral records and tombstones as a source. I have been unable to find the funeral records substantiating this relationship and the name of his wife though.

John died in Kansas and was buried in the Ottawa Indian Cemetery. I have found tombstones for R. Wilson and John there but have nothing else about this family other than a book I received from the tribe with some biography information about John Wilson. Any information about this family would be so appreciated!
