Hello All,

I am looking for information on my Shelby County ancestors.
The surnames would be Gillespie, Oburn (or Obern or Ubern), English, Sample, and Snyder. My great-great-great-grandfather was William John Gillespie who came to Shelby County abt. 1847 from Northern Ireland, his wife was Rachel Sample. Their son Benjamin was married twice, 1st wife, Mary Ellen English and 2nd wife, Christiana Oburn. Benjamin had at least 17 children with his two wives. I am descended from his daughter, by his second wife, Marinda Gertrude Gillespie. Marinda was married to William Warren Snyder, of Muncie, Indiana. They lived in Troy, Ohio for a number of years and eventually settled in Dayton. William and Marinda had 5 children, they were James, William, Roberta (my grandmother), Corrine, and Charles.

Any information on any or all of the aforementioned would be appreciated.
