TAYLOR, TERRY RAY
Terry Ray Taylor, age 58, passed away on May 4, 2006. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1947. In 1958, his father wanted to move to a warmer climate, so with his wife and their five boys, they moved to Norwalk, CA. Terry married Rita Oppenshaw and had two sons. He worked in the glass industry, and also worked various odd jobs. He was a good worker and could fix almost anything that needed fixed. Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry in 1969, while serving in Viet Nam, and his wife, Rita, in California. The family moved to Vancouver, WA. Terry married Pat Spainhower. They later divorced. Terry is survived by; his mother and father, Justina and James Taylor; three sons, Tim, Chris and Terry Ray, Jr.; five grandchildren, Mellisa, Eddie, Sabrina, Timothy Ray, Jr. and Christopher; three brothers, James, Edgar and Douglas; and two step-daughters, Debbie Krier and Karen Spainhower. Terry was friendly and caring about people, and was liked by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He liked to watch science fiction on T.V. as well as sports. He also enjoyed working on jig-saw puzzles and listening to gospel music, and he loved chocolate candy. Terry will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held Tues., May 16, 2006 at 1p.m. at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel, 4700 NE St. Johns, (360)693-3649.
