1850 Census, McKean/Licking/Ohio, Stephen Jagger and John Lemmon Families, Error?

I am researching families, and encountered an oddity in this census transcription. The two families are listed consecutively on page 257. The childrens' names are almost identical and in the same order, but with different ages. Stephen and Mary's children are Mary J.20, George 18, Henry? 15, Hethcoat 14, E.?? 12. E. Malinda is overwritten, and is male.

The Lemmon family is listed as John 37, Mary 32, Mary D. 11, George 9, Henry 7, Hethcoat 4, E. Melinda 1.

If anyone knows of a relationship between the families, or an explanation for the name similarity, I'd like to know. Thanks in advance.
