"In the parlors of the Hotel Cramond at Rugby Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock Miss Barbara Ross and J.F. Bickett were the contracting parties in a wedding ceremony performed by Rev. Father Turcott. David Bickett, a brother of the bridegroom acted as best man and the bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Roy Carnathan, of Granville. The bride is an estimable young lady of many excellent qualities and accomplishments and is well known in Granville, having made her home here for some time previous to removing with her parents to Glenburn. Mr. Bickett is a well and favorably known young man and is connected with the Great Northern Supply Co. at Glenburn, where the young couple will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Bickett passed through Granville Wednesday afternoon for Glenburn. That night they were given a reception by about thirty of their Glenburn friends and were the recipients of many useful and costly gifts in token of the esteem in which they are held by their acquaintances. The Record joins their many friends in extending congratulations."
