KING - Mr. Delmar Royce Moser, 68, of King passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
He was born April 9, 1934, in Stokes County to James Walter and Pearl Virginia Kiser Moser.
Mr. Moser was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Cranford Moser of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Felisa Moser Scales and husband Albert of King; three sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip Gray Moser and wife Nancy, Timmy Moser and wife Teresa, all of King, and Thadd Moser of Pfafftown; four grandchildren, Kelvin Scales, Christian Scales, Phoebe Moser and Becky Moser; a brother and sister-in-law, William Robert Moser and wife Lessie of King; a special sister-in-law, Bea Moser of King; many special sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews and numerous friends; and special friends Bob and Elsie Hooker of Westfield and Bill and Pat Gordon of Walkertown.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Moser was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Louise Moser; and a brother, James Eugene Moser.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Mount Olive Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Randy Roberts and the Rev. Yates Wilkinson Jr. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The Moser family is being served by Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain.
