My name is Betty Quinn Landrum. I have an ancestor by the name of Nancy Quinn would I believe married a William Mullins/Mullans. However, her real name was Anne Quinn, nicknamed Nancy by her grandfather. Nancy's father died in 1802 and she was just thirteen years old at the time. She and her younger brother, William Graham Quinn, were placed in an indenturement with their uncle, Thomas Quinn. Their mother,we believe, to be Elizabeth Rigby and their father, James Quinn. Both these children were orphaned and brought up as a ward of the court; their uncle's indenturement was
ended 1 year later because of some "unwise" dealings with the children's inheritance. She would have been fourteen at the time and she may have gotten married soon after this.
