Phillip D. Dozier alias Dauge was the son of James - he is listed in his father's will and he became the guardian of his brother (James, Jr.) children. He is mentioned in his brother's will. Listed in the 1800 census of Currituck before removing to Gibson, TN with his son Peter Lamb Dozier.

James was the son of Peter. Refer to the will online at Currituck County. Line works for the Colonial Dames. DAUGE,
