This line is also of interest to me - what do you have? I've been trying to connect a Benjamin Simmons (b. ca 1735) who died in Warren County, Georgia in 1795 to one of the numerous North Carolina SIMMONS branches for quite some time now...my Benjamin also had sons named, William, Henry and John. Benjamin entered Georgia 1775-1780 and settled in what became Wilkes (and later Warren) county. His children named on a 1795 deed were John, James, Henry, Lynsey, Polly and Deborah. He also had two older sons (or brothers?) named William and Thomas. Benjamin's wife was named Lucy.
