While at Burke County Library, look at Weynette Parks Hahn's transcriptions of Morgan District Superior Court records (four volumes). There are a number of Martin references, including Isaac. In Hahn's vol. III, there is a 1795 suit by Margaret Martin vs. William Spencer. She is suing for child support; the child appears to be born in 1786.

That's really a pretty useful suggestion. The depth of interest and research into this particular Martin line is worthy of a separate site.
It's not possible for those subscribed to the Burke County mailing list to request none of the Martin conversations.
No one is criticizing the Martin discussion. Some of the methodology information is useful in general. It has become a bit overwhelming for the list in general (45 emails and growing in one day only). A change of subject line could be useful, too.
Perhaps this is hopeless. The slightest comment provokes anger and hate.
So much for that. Christmas blessings to everyone on the Burke County message board.
