Yes it does look like the same family. I don't have Robert Edward "Edwin" Bain but I do have Pascal Bane/Bain and Sarah Sue Pace. Their daughter Mary Fidela Bane married William H. Austin (1850-1935). Their daughter Susanna "Anna" Austin (1874-1956) married 1st: William A. McIntyre (1865-1925) and later 2nd: John H. Davis. William A. and Anna (Austin) McIntyre had Lloyd Ray McIntyre (1892-1978) who was my mother's father.

I notice that in my Austin tree: Mary Fidela Bane & William H. Austin named one son (& Mary's brother) Pascal Tecumseh Austin (1880-1945). I'm reasonably certain that he would have been named after his grandfather, Pascal "Pack" Bane.

If you have any photos of that generation of Pascal & Sara Sue or their children, I would be interested in getting a copy. Also, I don't have information on their ancestors. I do have a photo of Mary Fidela Bane's husband (Wm H. Austin) that I could email you, but I have no photo of her or her siblings.

I thought I had found a copy of a deed of land to Mary F. Bane but I'm having trouble locating it. I usually scan stuff like that in so I have it in more than one place. Perhaps I am confusing her with another ancestor. Anyway, if I locate it and if you're interested, I'll give you a copy.

Thanks for contacting me.
