I'm Phil Pearce, Dallas, GA. My 4th GGrandparents were Capt. John Ande Johnson and his wife Elizabeth Alloway Strange. My line continues down through their daughter Polly, who married George Killian. Their Daughter Clarissa married William R. Hogshead, he was killed at the Battle of Spottsylvania Courthouse in May 1864 (I think that's the correct date given for his death). Clarrisa and Wm. R.'s son Daniel gave birth to my Grandmother, Roxie Hogsed (Hogshead) in Toccoa, GA. Roxie married Fred W. Hosea in Toccoa, and their Daughter Dorothy Theresa Hosea was my Mom. I have zero information on the parentage of Sarah Tailor, Capt. Johnson's Mother. Nor do I have any info on Noble Johnson Sr.'s wife, or his or her parents. I'd love to get some information on this line.
My Mother, who is now passed, gave me an interesting, old hand drawn "pedigree chart". It is large and brittle now, but has lots of birth and death dates of Capt. Johnson's descendants. Some of it is incorrect, but you might enjoy looking at it. Happy to share it with you. However, I don't know how to reproduce it. It won't fit a standard scanner and as I mentioned is very brittle. Any ideas? I have no idea who "drew" it or when, but it must have been before the advent of computers. I think maybe the 50s or 60s.
