jANET, Thanks so much for answering my message. I wish I had more information to give you about my family history, but haven't been able to find much. My grandmother was Roberta Elizabeth Chambers born in White Store in 1878 to Walter Chambers and Susanna Barrett Chambers. Susanna was daughter of Eli. The Chamber's were part of the founders group for Mt. Olive Baptist Church in White Store. Susanna and Walter had three daughters.. The oldest was Roberta. She married Benjamine White and Lived in Andrews, S.C. She died in 1914 of German Measels. She had two children. John, my father and Watt. She is buried in Andrews with the White family. Her two younger sisters, Mary Georgiana, and Susanna, died as children. They are all buried in the Mt Olive cemetary. Eli was buried in the Barrett cemetary, but was later moved to Mt. Olive. I have never been to White Store, but will be going next week. I knew the family lived near Wadesboro, but only recently found out just where. We go thru Wadesboro often on our way to Myrtle Beach and I can't beleive I've been so close to my family history and never knew it. I live in Concord, N.C. and my e-mail is Would love to have any info you can share. I will be happy to remburse you for any cost. I plan to order your book from lulu. I have two sisters and we are all so happy to get some of this info. Thanks again, Emily Price P.S. Wish I had had a girl, I would have named her Susanna Barrett. Think that is a beautiful name.
