There is no George BOON in the Orange County census'. I believe you have your date transposed. "North Carolina Marriages 1759-1979" show George BOON and Sarah BROWN marriage date as 30 November 1841 in Orange County, NC.

George and Sarah appear on the 1850 census Alamance County, NC, page 86A, each age 31, with Thomas BOON age 4 and John BOON age 2. I have a web site with some 1850 census information with annotations. Go to this link:
Select North Carolina and Alamance County. You can then select the census page from the list or select the Names option and find George then click on the page number in the list to view the information.

George D. BOON was born 17 June 1818 and died 11 October 1893, he is buried at the Browns Chapel Cemetery, Burlington, NC. See this link:

Sarah BOON was born about 1818 and died 16 December 1885, she is buried at the Browns Chapel Cemetery. See link:;

It appears that George D. BOON married second to Mary A. EDWARD GARRISON 27 October 1886 Alamance County, this according to "North Carolina Marriages 1759-1979". This would appear to be the same George as the name is the same, the age is about right, and it is the year following the death of Sarah. George is listed as age 65, parents John & Barbara BOON. Mary is listed as age 60, parents T. R. & Milie EDWARDS.

I'm not sure who George's parents are as I do not have anything on John & Barbara BOON. I will try to check the census'.

Hope this helps.
