Hello Sara:
Have you found the answer to your question about the parentage of John D Hall? Most interested as I have Moses Hall that made the same moves until Crawford County PA...he stayed there but a brother Warren went on to Fond Du Lac WI

Regarding the 1860 census...did you ever solve that problem if not I am including what I found and think is correct.

1860 IA-Tama-Carlton-0097: JD 45, S 46-ny, O 22, A 21, A 19, A 16, A 12-pa, A 7-wi, A 5-wi, L Goodfellow 21-ny

I have other families in Iowa in 1860 and many of them were initials only.

Another census listed Sylvia...don't know if you have it

1885 IA-Marsh-Marshall-fm38: Sylvia 70-NY-WID at 305 NorthCenter with Ann Bruner 32wi &fam..Henry 35GER Anna 12 Olive 4

Dianna gr granddau of Moses Hall.
