Obituary of Samuel L. Yetto.

BRUNSWICK -- Samuel L. Yetto, 86, former longtime resident of Westfall Ave., died November 8, 1999 at Rosewood Gardens in East Greenbush. He was husband of the late Ann M. Ross Yetto. Born in Wynantskill, son of the late Samuel L. and Mary Louise Beaudoin Yetto, he attended Wynantskill schools. He was employed in his early years by Republic Steel, worked as a plumber for Ken Windover Plumbing in Wynantskill and then as a plumber for Trojan Hardware in Troy for many years, retiring 20 years ago. He was a 45-year member of Local 7 Plumber and Steamfitters Union now in Albany and was a longtime communicant of St. Francis De Sales Church, Troy. Mr. Yetto was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting in his early years. Survivors include three sons, Samuel Yetto of Pittstown, John Yetto of Brunswick and Rene Yetto of Troy; two daughters, Anne Trudeau of Raymertown and Marie Rokjer of Cossayuna; 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Sommo of Troy and Josephine Carl of Wynantskill; and a brother, Alfred Yetto of Wynantskill. He was predeceased by a sister, Alice Castle and six brothers, Leonard, Homer, Arthur, Edward, George and Joseph Yetto. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial mass at St. Francis De Sales Church, Troy, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. There will be no calling hours. Contributions to the American Heart Assoc., 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Samuel L. Yetto, would be appreciated. Arrangements by the Thomas S. Connolly Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill.
