Searching for any and all information regarding family of Charles Hanson Toll (1735-1809) and his wife Maria Kittle. The lived in Schaghticoke, Rensselaer (then Albany) County, New York until 1792 when they lost their land due to a lawsuit.
In 1793 they were living in Whitestown in Oneida County. Their children were Esther (married Ezra Dyer), Simon (married Patience Allen), Daniel, Elizabeth, Maria, Nellie, Abraham, John and (probably) William Toll.
Ezra & Esther (Toll) Dyer settled in Greenwich, Washington County, NY. Simon Toll lost his land in Rome in 1799 and then moved to Hudson, Columbia County, NY (1806) and finally New York City (circa 1815). The father Charles Toll sold his tavern in Whitestown in 1797 and moved to Glen in Montgomery County where he died in 1809.
Abraham, John and William Toll were still living in Whitestown in 1802. Abraham and William Toll were still living in Whitestown as late as 1817.
The Tolls may have been related to the brothers Clark and Abijah Putnam. Any and all information is appreciated.
