Not sure which township you are looking for. There were Congregationalist Churches in Royalton, Cambria, Lockport and Suspension Bridge, if not more townships. I don't know about Newfane. For Lockport, there was the First Congregational Church 1838-1920 located at Church and Niagara Streets. It merged with East Avenue Congregationalist Church to form Plymouth Congregationalist Church at 98 East Avenue. The East Avenue Congregationalist records were destroyed by fire 12 1927 but Plymouth has the First Congregationalist records (baptisms, marriages, deaths and members) for 1854-1920. My records are older so they might not be accurate anymore, but if this is what you're looking for, please try the Church Secretary at Plymouth Congregational tele. 433-2545. Good luck.
