DEATH OF GEORGE LIPPERT SR.

George Lippert Sr, one of th most highly respected citizens of this community - died suddenly Sunday morning at 5:15 o'clock, at the age of 71 years.

Mr. Lippert was born in Buffalo, Jan 11, 1850 and spent the early part of his life in that region - Later, he moved to the Four Mile where he engaged in farming and oil producing.. In April 1877 he was married to Mary K. Wahl and soon after moved to the South Nine Mile were he engaged in farming and dairying up to the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife Mary K Lippert of Allegany; two sons, Edward F Lippert of Allegany, and George M. Lippert of Kane, PA; Three daughters Mrs Henry Carls of the Four Mile; Mrs Wm Karl of the Nine Mile; and Mrs Frank Abbott of Chipmonk, NY; 18 grand-children; one sister Mrs Mary Warters of Allegany; four brothers Joe; John; Michael and Andrew Lippert of Allegany.

The Funeral services were held at St. Bonaventure's Church Wednesday morning at 9:30 with solemn requiem high mass. The bearers consisted of nephews and grand-sons ofthe deceased as follows; Norman and George Carls; Frank, William, Raymond and Norman Lippert. Burial was in St. Bona's cemetery.

Among the out of town relatives who attended the funereral were Wm. Fraces and Philomena Ryan of Sharon PA; Mr and Mrs George Lippert and Maurice Lippert of Kane; Mrs. Mary Farrell, Joseph Farrell and D.J. Ronovan of Emporium; Mr. and Mrs F. Warters of Salamana; Joe Warters of Bradford.
