I am searching for the parents of Juan Blas Tiburcio.
He and Ana Maria Silva were married in Tome, New Mexico and had a daughter named Juana Maria Josefa Silva Tiburcio (Montano). She is described as a "mestiza".
Christoval Antoñio Ulivarri, 20 year old espanol, married Juana Maria Josefa Silva Tiburcio (Montano), the 16 year old Mestiza daughter of Juan Blas Tiburcio, deceased, and Anna Maria Silva, all of Los Bacas, on Mar. 29, 1800/m. Apr. 31, 1800 [Tome Marriages p. 24]
Juan Blas Tiburcio and Ana Maria Silva lived in Belen on the "Plaza de los Genizaros".
Ana is described as "mestiza" and Juan is described as a "genizaro", a de-tribalized indian. http://uair.library.arizona.edu/item/231105
Juan Blas Tiburcio's parent's are listed as Antonio Tiburcio and Felipa De La Cruz Romero.
I would like to know what tribe Antonio and Felipa were from. Many Genizaros lost affiliation with their tribes so I am hoping their may be a marriage or other record that would indicate their specific tribe(s).
