On your deed record list you have:

Elliott Wm Adam Runley E 346 Film 959271 Deed records v. E 1842-1846

Because deed work was written in cursive and can be hard to read, I wonder if that was really Adam Remley. The Remley family (brothers John, Jacob, and Adam) got land patents starting in the 1830's between Camden and Orrick, immediately north of and slightly west of Fleming which didn't exist then. This is from someone else's long, very detailed genforum post:

"Sarah J., first daughter of Adam Remley, married Anderson Elliott, brother of
William Elliott. In May, 1852, Sarah J. died. No further record found."

Do you think we have an Elliot-Remley connection here?

Among other things, I am trying to figure out who might be buried in the old Remley family cemetery. Earliest burials had family connections; later ones did not. The stones have been damaged. I found a stone, likely a foot stone with initials A. D. E., and I wish I knew Anderson Elliott's middle initial. Death certificates for pre-1910 burials were not mandated, and information sources are scarce. Any clues?
