Charley M. McCULLOUGH (b. 14 Feb 1884 Ozark Co, MO), son of
John Thomas and Delia Redenna ORR, grandson of Pleasant
Johnson McCULLOUGH and Matilda WELCH. His grandparents came
to Ozark County with their six children in early 1840 from
KY or TN when John T. McCULLOUGH was 12 years old.
Charley about born about three quarters of a mile SE of the Isabella store (It is now part of the Everett Chism farm). Charley d. 6 Feb 1947 and is buried at Isabella Cemetery.
In 1916, Charley McCULLOUGH m. Cordelia "Delia" COULTER
(b. 20 Jan 1897), dau of George COULTER and Delphia ORR. Eleven children, seven listed: Lucille ROBERTS, Ava, MO; Susie CHAPPELL, Tulsa, OK; Alva McCULLOUGH, Springfield, MO; Eugie KNIGHT, Branson, MO; Gene McCULLOUGH, Olathe, KS; Joan STILLINGER, Riverside, CA; and Donald McCULLOUGH, Branson, MO.

He married (circa 1855-1857) Mrs. Phebea Ann (Perkins) JAMES (b. circa 1832), dau of Hiram PERKINS and Lucinda Ailsa (HUFF, and the widow of his cousin, James JAMES. Ten children. The first two born in AR, the next four in Ozark County, and the last four in McDonald County, MO. Phebea had three sons by her first husband: John D. JAMES (b. 1850) m. Mary in 1869; William Martin JAMES (b. circa 1852) m. (1) Nancy Ann WELCH in 1869, then he m. (2) Emmaline BEASLEY in 1879; and James JAMES (b. circa 1853 AR)....

Bonapart MARSH and Sinthy Ann WELCH; Addie b. 9 Jun 1879.
Seven sons, two died at birth and another died at age 4. Four surviving sons were: Chat Elliot (1898); Samuel Alexander "Pete" (1901); George Washington (1903); and Thomas Summers "Tom" (1905). Jack d. 19 May 1865; Addie d. 9 Mar 1968; both buried at Thornfield Cemetery.

Jacob m. Mary "Matildia" Melenda MAHAN, dau of John MAHAN and Sarah Ann WELCH. Sarah Ann was of Indian blood. Both re buried on the Everett BUTTRAM farm on which Mahan/Bradley Cemetery is located. They homesteaded 160 acres on the head of Pondfork Creek. He was the first postmaster of the Igo post office. Matildia d. 1915 and is buried near Muskogee, OK. Children:

and some of the SALLEES moved to Indian Territory before OK
was a state. Jacob d. 1916 and he is buried in Ridgelawn
Cemetery west of Collinsville, OK, in an unmarked
